What does your familiar say about you?

Postby Cadno ap annwn on Tue Apr 22, 2008 4:47 pm

I'm wondering what our familiars say about us, in many regards they are viewed as pets by most of the world. So when you have say a snake, dog or rabbit, what do they say about your character and who you are?

I can only imagine what mine says about me, Jenny my little Jack X is a complete lunatic when she's out. So that to me would mean people think I might be a little mad myself. Though this is entirely true its also somewhat amusing lol.

But I'm thinking of the type of animal you have, do dog people have to be a certain way?

Does owning a snake mean you like Rock music and tend to fancy yourself in leather?

Theres load of misconceptions out there, and what I'm trying to get at here is to identify a few but also to get what you guys think your own pets and familiars say about you.

Look forward to hearing from you all ;)

Ok, I gotta answer this as you mentioned snakes :D
Yes I like rock music but not sure about the leather bit.......
Boas are extremly strong, could easily break an arm if they really wanted to. I was once in the grip of Saturn, my big female (at 9ft and 45 lbs) she had an "arm lock" on me, she had my wrist bent forward, which resulted in it being strapped up for a week as a sprain :?
Snakes are silent creatures, they make no noise as they move.

So, I would consider myself as the ..strong silent type... :P
