Tried ... not so well lol

I did try once to make incense from a recipe I found. It might have worked too if I'd had the proper ingredients. All in all it smelled nice but didn't burn the way it should have.

I got the sawdust it called for, mortared dried rosemary, got the honey, and lol tried using twigs found in the neighbor's yard. Well as I said it smelled good, I spose had I had the proper sticks it wouldn't have fallen off into the censor where I just lit the whole glob and let it burn lol ...

... maybe some other time lol

Try making a loose mix insense that can be burnt on a charcoal disc?

Well I am useless at making the stuff, but to be honest I'd love to learn. So has anyone got any good suggestions about a good place to start with this?

Ideally I'd like to make the stick type, but something tells me the old charcoal blocks would feel neglected so I'm open to any idea :D

Well, I haven't done anything but crush herbs or incense together; maybe added some oils. I have only done it once and still have the whole things I made. I forget what it was for  (I know that is bad). It was a powder that had to be burnt on a charcoal disc. Smelled nice and burnt for a long time. I will have to look when hubby isn't sleeping and see what it is. I think it might have been a Business Incense   . Let you know later.

Brightest Blessings!
