Many of us use specific techniques with energy. Many of use use energy in a more generalised way.

We wanted to add this board to discuss the common themes that run through all kinds of energy use.

Divination, intuition, empathy, spellwork, meditation, grounding, astral journeying, shielding, the list goes on. What each method has in common is the use and controlled direction of energy.

This board is a place to discuss energy, what it is, how we visualise and use energy, what we use it for.

It must be noted that in this wide topic we can really only share our personal opinions, there really is no such thing as a right or wrong waying of understanding energy.

Ok, I'm excited about this board and I was thinking how to go about expressing my ideas. I decided to begin by trying to define and categorise different uses for energy. Many methods will fall under more than one category and we can look at each method in terms of the kind of energy that is being used for different techniques too.

I'm very much aware that energy cannot truly be defined because its so personal and thats where I need help from everyone. If we can all give information on our personal thoughts about energy, techniques and uses then we can begin to see common ground and learn equally from the differences.

Basically I'm trying to develop my ideas and clarify my thoughts. I tend to do that by wanting to reign ideas in and categorise them as much as possible so that I can then decide what I want to take on board to learn more. I suppose I'm learning rules so that I can break them, typical Taurean :roll:
