I love the muted tones in this image. If you are going to add more colour I would be very selective about where it is added to keep the lovely sense of calm that the muted tones create.

I think there are 3 options for developing this painting;
1 Add more detail and colour all over
2 Add detail all over with selective colour
3 Add colour all over with selective detail

Hope that makes sense.
I do love what you've shown us all ready, the perspective and composition are great.
