With Spring's Beginning, The Spring Equinox, Brigit, Oimelc or so many other names (Feb. 2nd) what do many of you have planned to do? Are you going to be creative or simple?

Just to give you some ideas or a simple word "initiation". Spring is a good time for this. Fertility, resolutions, commitment. Look hard at those words not just AT them.

Then with the new light and warmth coming over the land and a new year beginning please share what you will be doing with your family. I will share as the time comes. Whether it be a simple dinner, a brigit doll you made together, candles in her colors or fires I would to here how you honor this special day Very Happy .

Brightest Blessings!

Hi Adarian it's great to see you hon.

It just so happens that I finished writting a piece about Imbolc earlier that, if my editor agrees it , will be published in the Imbolc edition of the Shadow Oracle. I found it a bit tricky at first since I have normaly gone on gut feeling and just done what felt right for the day. One thing I have done, for few years now, is make pancakes for breakfast.

I'm really looking forward to this year because I'll get to share it all with you guys. :D

Love and Light Adarian and I hope you're doing ok.

Wonderful! I look forward to reading it :D . Very nice to see you too!

Pancakes are a wonderful thing to make for breakfast and kids (and adults) love them. Do you have any special syrup you have to go with it? or fruit? or anything different?

I am still thinking of what to do myself as I am going to be doing baking this year instead of a ritual. I will be setting up a table altar instead of a normal altar and will be lighting candles as I LOVE candles :D . Not sure as to any crafts though  . If the weather is nice maybe a walk, but that will have to wait and see  .

Brightest Blessings!

Oh yes candles are a must as is a walk. :)

As to things for Pancakes well, it's gotta be Maple Syrup for me really. My son loves lime juice and sugar. I also really like butter and sugar, oh and chocolate spread with banana's a good one too.

Yes we like the pancakes. :D
