Candle magick

Postby Cadno ap annwn on Wed Sep 12, 2007 2:48 pm

Does anyone practice this art? Perhaps you've read something like Bucklands books in regards to it?

I'm really interesting in your views on this subject as candle magick is one of the most popular methods of spellcrafting out there. Its fairly easy to use but also extremely effective when put with a well performed intent.

I've kinda dabbled with it, but only a few times - seemed to work though, except for the one to bring my lost cat home

I've dabbled too, and it usually worked. I seem to incorporate it naturally.
Sorry about your cat Sekhmut, thats a shame.

I did some candle magick last fall (2006) when we needed to have a part of our roof replaced and had no money. I was led to the money and then some :) We got the roof replaced and paid off some bills :D

Turned out I had paid off a loan from my own 401K several months prior and had no idea. It was an autopay that I hadn't paid attention to. I was led to check my acct online, a place I've never been to lol .. whereupon I discovered I could take out another loan. So, I borrowed from myself and I pay myself interest. So I got to replace the roof, pay some bills, and pay MYSELF back with interest. Not a bad deal eh?

Yes, Candle magick DOES work! But remember, nothing works without you putting a bit of legwork into it. You won't find a job unless you put applications in .. the magick energy you put into it will help you but it won't drop a job in your lap without the legwork.

Joke:

"A woman prays to the gods to win her the lottery. Each week, she checks the numbers. Nothing.
Finally she prays to the gods and asks why she hasn't won the lottery.
The gods answer her, "you have to help us out lady. You have to buy a lottery ticket!"

*chuckles*

Believe it or not, I used to do a great deal of candle magick.

The reason for this is that candles act in a very symbolic nature, it was far easier for me to focus my intent into an object such as a candle. I've used them for things such as bringing something to me, seeing a challenge for what it is and even the creation of servators and thoughtforms.
