Anyone thats knows me well, knows how much I love art nouveau, especially rennie mackintosh. having rediscovered my love for his work i am now doing an art nouveau bedroom with some rennie mackintosh pieces done by me. here is my first piece...

Now this is where I am uneducated, art is something I enjoy but not a subject I know a great deal about :(

But I have to say that looks amazing, I'm almost nervous about asking but are you going to put up some pics of the finished bedroom?

lol yes i will when turk gets up off his butt and finishes the painting! i can't do it cos of my back and it involves shifting alot of stuff.
but a brief description of how i see it in my head is.....the walls are light green (willow green), and there is going to be an art nouveau style tree painted either behind the headboard of the bed or in the dominant corner, and it will go up onto the ceiling. it will be a darker green, so it looks kinda like a shadow. to give an idea of how the tree will look.....

its gonna be mainly like the first one, with some elements of the others. and my paintings will go on the tree

i just today bought a gorgeous art nouveau style lamp, which i don't have a pic of at the moment. but will get one.

there will be gold highlights throughout the room.
i wish i could actually have a rennie mackintosh room because his work is beautiful, so simple and clean, and sometimes quite complex.

there are sites with better pics of his interiors, and the buildings he designed too, but i can't remember where they are!
